Revealed in July 2022, the G70 is the seventh iteration of BMW’s flagship 7 Series, bringing full-size luxury into an age dominated by electrification and digital interfaces.
Design & Dimensions
The G70 stretches 5.39 m long and sits nearly 2 m wide at 1.95 m, making it visibly larger than the outgoing G11. At 1.544 m tall, the roofline is slightly raised to create extra headroom and accommodate battery packs in the all-electric i7 models without intruding on cabin space.
Engineering
Platform carries both combustion and pure-electric powertrains under a single body shell. Adaptive air suspension and rear-axle steering are standard, enabling limousine comfort and surprisingly nimble low-speed maneuvering for a car that exceeds 5.3 m in length.
Legacy
By uniting internal-combustion, hybrid, and zero-emission drivetrains into one coherent range, the G70 positions the 7 Series as BMW’s technological showcase for the 2020s.
