More than a facelift, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 of 2008 refined the company’s best-selling V10 platform with sharper aerodynamics, more power, and lowered CO₂ output. Its arrival cemented the Gallardo’s status as Lamborghini’s volume player and daily-drivable supercar.
Design
LP560-4 brought a noticeably cleaner front end: trapezoidal grilles replaced lattice intakes, LED running lights debuted, and the rear bumper was scaled back to expose more diffuser blade area. Flat under-body panels and a re-profiled rear spoiler increased downforce by 31 % with no extra drag, while optional transparent engine covers reminded onlookers what powered the drama.
