Lamborghini Diablo GT

Limited to just 80 copies worldwide, the Lamborghini Diablo GT is the ultimate street-legal evolution of the original 1990 Diablo, released in 1999 to push mid-engine supercar performance to a new extreme. Hand-built by the race-focused SVR department, it blends raw V-12 muscle with aggressive aerodynamics more commonly seen on the track than the road.
Design
Compared with the standard Diablo, the GT gains a pronounced carbon-fiber front splitter, wider fixed rear wing, and distinctive NACA ducts on the hood, all designed to increase downforce and cooling. Lightweight composite panels, hollow-spoke magnesium wheels, and a stripped-out cockpit underscore its race-derived intent.
Performance
Under the rear deck sits a bored and stroked 6.0-liter naturally aspirated V-12 producing around 575 hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual routes power to the rear wheels through a modified differential, launching the car from 0–62 mph in 3.9 seconds and on to a factory-quoted 210 mph top speed.
Production & Legacy
Each of the 80 Diablo GT units received bespoke chassis numbering starting with GT01, and many were configured with unique color schemes for specific markets. The GT’s technology and styling cues directly informed the later Diablo GTR race cars and previewed the more aggressive look later seen on the Murciélago LP 670-4 SV.
