Measuring 4,567 mm long, 1,839 mm wide and 1,621 mm tall on a 1,433 kg kerb, the ZR-V sits squarely as Honda’s Goldilocks crossover: larger than an HR-V yet shorter and lower than a CR-V. This sizing lets it target buyers who need extra room without stepping up to the full midsize class.
Platform & Engineering
Honda chose the same architecture underpinning the eleventh-generation Civic, a rigid, lightweight platform already praised for ride quality and safety. Translating car bones to SUV duty should yield precise steering and improved crash performance, key selling points against segment stalwarts.
Relationship to HR-V and CR-V
