Ford Fiesta (2017)

Seventh-generation Ford Fiesta – the last before Ford exited the European small-car market – arrived in 2016 and kept the supermini relevant with sharper styling, a first-ever ST hot-hatch variant introduced in 2018, and a final facelift in 2022.
Design and dimensions
The 2017 Fiesta swelled slightly yet stayed city-friendly: 4 040 mm long, 1 734 mm wide and 1 476 mm tall. Ford offered the body in three-door form for tight urban parking and added a panel-van derivative for fleet users who needed small cargo volume in a hatch footprint.
Performance highlight
A year after launch, Ford added the Fiesta ST. Using a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo, it delivered up to 200 PS and became the first performance-tuned offering within the Mk7 family, setting the last performance benchmark for the badge.
Generations & final update
Introduced as Mk7, the car was the seventh generation overall. After six years on sale it received a 2022 facelift that sharpened the grille, upgraded lights and added new in-car tech, serving as the final refresh before Ford phased out European Fiesta production in 2023.
