Conceived in 1993, the Ferrari FZ93 is a one-off supercar that emerged from the prancing-horse skunkworks, a single expression of Maranello engineering that was never green-lit for series production. Its solitary existence makes the FZ93 a rare reference point for Ferrari experimental design in the early 1990s.
History
Unveiled to the public at the 1993 Bologna Motor Show, the FZ93 was commissioned by the factory as a rolling test-bed and style exercise. It carries no official chassis number, existing outside Ferrari’s regular production sequence, and has remained the only example ever built.
Design & Dimensions
The body, penned by the Ferrari Style Centre, marries a low wedge profile with visible side air intakes and a high rear deck. Measuring 4,465 mm nose-to-tail, it adopts proportions reminiscent of contemporary mid-engined Ferraris while previewing surface treatments that would later influence the 1994 F355.
