Daihatsu Mira e:S

Debuted at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show and launched in Japan in September 2011, the Daihatsu Mira e:S is a kei-car line that replaced the Daihatsu Esse while spawning identical Toyota Pixis Epoch and Subaru Pleo Plus siblings.
Origins & Launch Sequence
Daihatsu previewed the look with the ‘e:S’ concept at Tokyo 2009 and then brought the production kei car to the Japanese market two years later. Toyota followed on 10 May 2012 with the rebadged Pixis Epoch, while Subaru issued its version as the Pleo Plus on 21 December 2012.

True to kei-car rules, the Mira e:S measures exactly 3 395 mm long, 1 475 mm wide and 1 500 mm tall—right at the regulatory maximums for tax-class benefits in Japan.
