Born in December 1994 as a replacement for the Dodge Dynasty, the Dodge Stratus debuted as the company's fresh mid-size sedan answer. Sharing Chrysler's JA platform with the Plymouth Breeze and Chrysler Cirrus, it grabbed headlines in 1996-97 by landing on Car and Driver's 10Best list.
