Slotting between the Chrysler CO and the later Chrysler Airstream, the Chrysler CA was a short-lived compact positioning Chrysler in the smaller end of the pre-war market.
Position in Lineup
The CA arrived in Chrysler's catalogue immediately after the Chrysler CO and occupied the company’s compact offering niche. Chrysler replaced the CA with the Airstream branding when sales strategies shifted and the model run was cut short. Beyond its status as the connecting link between those two product cycles, very little documented engineering or sales information survives.
