Chery A15

History
Chery introduced the A15 in 2003 as its follow-up to the A11, continuing the brand’s early push into affordable compact sedans. Production ended in 2010, giving way to a facelifted variant named Cowin 2 that lingered in showrooms until 2016.
Design & Dimensions
The car rode on a footprint of 4 393 mm length, 1 682 mm width and 1 424 mm height—typical dimensions for the compact segment of the 2000s. Despite its modest external size, listed kerb weight reached 2 500 kg, suggesting robust build or generous equipment for its class.
Performance
Top speed is quoted at 160 km/h, placing the A15 on par with other sub-2.0-litre compact sedans of the era and adequate for inter-city travel in markets where the model was sold.
