BMW's high-performance division, BMW M, created the M Coupé, a variant of the Z3 and later Z4 coupés, between 1998 and 2008. The M Coupé was produced in two generations, each based on a different Z-series model. This exclusive car was tailored for driving enthusiasts.
Generations
The first generation of the BMW M Coupé was based on the Z3 and produced from 1998 to 2002. The second generation, produced from 2006 to 2008, was derived from the Z4.
Design and Performance
As high-performance versions of the Z3 and Z4 coupés, the M Coupé models were engineered by BMW M to offer enhanced driving dynamics and power.
