BMW E92

40 მმ-ით გაწელილი საბაზი და ტრასის 6 მმ-ით გაფართოება E90 სედანთან შედარებით E92-ს დაბრტყელილი, კუნძვიანი პოზა გადმოსცემს. უჩარჩო შუშები, უკან მოსახვევ სავარძლამდე მიწევა და გაწელილი C-სვეტი სალონს განსხვავებულ სცენას უხატავს და ჩამატებული სახურავის ზედმეტ წონასაც არ გვმატებს.
ინჟინერია & გამავლობა
გაშვებისას მყიდველმა სამი ბუნებრივი ასპირაციის სამპორცენტიანი ბენზინები გაირჩია – 325, 330, 335 – დაუმატა ბოლშევიკური ორლიტრიანი დიზელიც. 2010-ში N54-ის ორტურბოს N55-მა ერთი ტურბოთი შეცვალა, სირთულე შეამცირა, ხოლო 306 ცხენი შეინარჩუნა. მექანიკა ყველაფერზე 6-საფეხურიანი იყო; პარალელურად შეხვდი ZF-ის 6-საფეხურიან ავტომატს და შემდეგ უკვე 8-საფეხურიანს.

Untangling the BMW E92 from the alphabet soup of Bavarian product codes reveals the three-door coupé variant of the E90 3 Series family launched for the 2006-2013 generation. It carries the storied 3 Series badge while staking its own territory as the only fixed-roof two-door model in the entire lineage since the '80s.
Design
E92 engineers stretched the wheel-base 40 mm and widened the track 6 mm versus the equivalent E90 saloon, creating a noticeably squat stance. A frameless door glass, rear-hinged seat access, and elongated C-pillar give it a silhouette that diverges from the saloon without the weight penalty of a folding roof.
Engineering & Drivetrain
At launch, buyers chose between three naturally-aspirated straight-six petrol units—325, 330, and 335—plus the inevitable two-litre diesel four. By 2010 the N55 single-turbo inline-6 replaced the twin-turbo N54 in the 335i, cutting complexity while retaining 306 PS. All manual transmissions were six-speed; optional were six-speed ZF and eventually eight-speed automatics.
Generations & Variants
Besides volume models, BMW produced limited-run E92s in rapid succession: the 2007 M3 Coupé (V8 S65), 2009 M3 GTS with Plexiglas rear window and roll-cage, and 2010 Frozen Edition builds. Roster winnowed in late-2013 when the F32 4 Series took over as coupé placeholder.
Legacy
Production of the E92 M3 ended in July 2013 after 40,659 units were built, becoming one of the last naturally-aspirated M cars. Daily-driver E92s still populate the used market, prized for lower depreciation curves and a rear-drive platform becoming rarer in modern traffic.
