Aston Martin One-77

Introduced under a velvet shroud at the 2008 Paris Motor Show and unveiled outright at Geneva the following year, the Aston Martin One-77 is the marque’s two-door supercar that reset extremes for both price and performance when deliveries began in 2011.
Design
Measuring 4.6 m long, 2 m wide and just 1.22 m tall, the One-77’s carbon-fibre monocoque wears hand-beaten aluminium panels shaped in the classic long-bonnet proportions Aston Martin is known for. The dramatic lines screen an exceptionally athletic stance that hints at the 357 km/h top speed.
Engineering
The completed car carries a dry mass of 1 630 kg—remarkably light for a large displacement grand tourer—achieved through extensive use of carbon composites and lightweight alloys. Peer beneath the vented bonnet and a custom-built 7.3-litre naturally aspirated V12 resides amidships, sending power rearwards through an automated manual transmission to the wide 355-section rear tyres.
Production & Rare Status
Build numbers were capped at exactly 77 units spread across 2011–2012, ensuring each example remains a one-off collector piece rather than a volume halo model.
