Slotted between the boxy 33 and the crisp 147, the Alfa Romeo 146 five-door hatch arrived in 1994 as the brand’s last family car built on the extended Fiat Tipo platform.
History
Introduced as a roomier companion to the three-door 145, the 146 replaced the aging 33 in Alfa’s compact lineup. It remained in production until 2000, when the all-new 147 took over as Alfa Romeo’s entrant in the growing C-segment.
