Acura TLX

Sold from model-year 2015 to 2025, the Acura TLX combined the former TL and TSX into one four-door, entry-level luxury sedan slot, briefly rising to flagship status within Honda’s premium line.
History
Launched for 2015 as the single-car replacement for both the TL and TSX, the TLX re-aligned Acura’s sedan portfolio. After the RLX bowed out following the 2020 season, the TLX became Acura’s largest and most up-market sedan.Slackening demand led Acura to confirm it would halt production at the end of the 2025 model year.
Design & Dimensions
Conceived in the brand’s sharp-edged "keen-edge" design language, the TLX packaged sport-oriented proportions within a 4 851 mm long, 1 853 mm wide, 1 440 mm tall footprint, giving it lower roof and wider stance than its two predecessors.
Position in Acura range
Initially positioned above the compact ILX, the TLX sat squarely in Acura’s mid-size luxury segment. With the RLX discontinued and no direct replacement announced, the TLX carried the flagship role for five additional model years before the 2025 end-of-production decision.
