Introduced at the London Motor Show in October 1965, the Triumph 1300 was a medium-sized saloon car produced by Standard Triumph until 1970. It was designed by Michelotti as a replacement for the Triumph Herald.

The Triumph 1300 was manufactured in Coventry, England, under the control of Leyland Motors from 1965 to 1970. It was intended to succeed the popular Triumph Herald.
Design
The body of the Triumph 1300 was designed by Michelotti, featuring a style similar to the larger Triumph 2000. The car's dimensions were 3886mm in length, 1568mm in width, and 1372mm in height.
Legacy
The Triumph 1300 was eventually replaced by the Triumph 1500. It was also re-engineered in the early 1970s to form the basis for the Toledo and Dolomite ranges.
