Kia's largest US-made vehicle, the Telluride, is a mid-size crossover SUV that debuted in 2019 as a 2020 model, replacing the Mohave. It features three-row seating and shares key components with the Hyundai Palisade. The Telluride is named after the town of Telluride, Colorado.
History
Previewed as a concept in 2016, the production Kia Telluride was launched in early 2019. It is positioned above the Sorento in Kia's lineup.
Design and Engineering
The Telluride shares its engine, transmission, and wheelbase with the Hyundai Palisade. Its dimensions include a length of 5000mm, width of 1900mm, and height of 1750mm, with a mass of 2033kg.
Generations
The Kia Telluride has been in production since 2019, marking a new generation of full-size SUVs from Kia and effectively replacing the Mohave.
