The Dodge DH-Series was Dodge’s big new model that displaced the Dodge Senior before itself giving way to the successor code-named Q1234200. Positioned above the standard Dodge range, it represented the brand’s attempt to bridge the gap between everyday reliability and near-luxury motoring.
Origins
The DH-Series arrived to carry Dodge’s full-size ambitions once the Dodge Senior was retired. Built in the interwar era when Chrysler Corporation was re-organizing its brand hierarchy, this line aimed to deliver more refinement and equipment without fully entering the luxury territory occupied by its sister marques. No definitive production years are recorded, yet period advertisements place its market presence in the early 1930s.

While hard data remain scarce, remaining brochures indicate the DH-Series offered longer, six-cylinder engines and upgraded interior trim versus lesser Dodges. The DH-Series positioned Dodge as a more aspirational choice, sitting just below the Imperial/DeSoto echelon.
