Compact yet spacious, the Citroën C4 X delivers a sedan take on the third-generation C4, stretching practical French style into a sleeker four-door silhouette. Its 4.6-metre length positions it between typical hatchbacks and family saloons, giving buyers luggage-friendly capability without moving up a size class.
Design and Packaging
By mounting a three-box rear onto the C4 platform, Citroën gains 510 litres of boot volume and a longer rear overhang, all while preserving the small-car footprint. The roofline stays 1 525 mm tall, retaining the upright seating posture and generous glazing that define recent Citroën crossovers.
Variants and Positioning
Offered alongside the C4 hatch and C4 coupé-SUV, the C4 X effectively extends the nameplate into a sedan niche that Citroën last occupied with the Saxo saloon decades ago. It slots below larger Stellantis products such as the 508 in price and tax brackets, yet carries many of the same safety and infotainment modules.
