Launched in 2014, the Citroën C4 Cactus is a subcompact crossover SUV that redefined Citroën's lineup. Produced in Spain, it has seen two generations since its introduction. The C4 Cactus is based on the PSA PF1 platform.
History
The Citroën C4 Cactus was first produced in April 2014 in Spain. Production of the first generation continued until December 2017, when it was succeeded by the second generation, which commenced production in October 2017. The final months of production for the second generation were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Design and Platform
The C4 Cactus is considered a compact SUV and is based on the PSA PF1 platform, which also underpins the Citroën C3 and DS3. It has dimensions of 4157mm in length, 1729mm in width, and 1480mm in height.
Generations
The C4 Cactus has seen two generations since its introduction in 2014. The first generation was produced from April 2014 to December 2017, and the second generation started production in October 2017.
