Little-documented today, the Chrysler CD was the full-size line that bridged Chrysler's range between its unnamed forerunner and the better-known 1971 Chrysler CP sedan.

What we know for certain is the model code CD itself and its position in the lineup—after an un-recorded predecessor and before the CP program that followed. No year range, body styles, or production totals have surfaced in surviving Chrysler records or enthusiast literature.
Legacy
With scarcely any published specifications, the Chrysler CD survives mainly in parts-book references that distinguish it from the later CP. The few remaining examples are prized by Australian Chrysler historians as placeholders in the company’s product timeline.
