The Chery Tiggo 3x is a subcompact crossover that translates the familiar Tiggo family design into a smaller footprint, slotting in below the Tiggo 5/7 range and borrowing its underpinnings from the Chery Fulwin 2 hatchback.
Origins
Built on the same platform as the Chery Fulwin 2 hatchback, the Tiggo 3x compresses the brand’s crossover formula into a 4.2-metre body aimed mainly at first-time SUV buyers and urban markets. Export versions wear the Tiggo 2 nameplate, signaling its positioning as the entry point in Chery’s global lineup.
Dimensions
With a 2 555 mm wheelbase wrapped by 4 200 mm overall length, 1 760 mm width and 1 570 mm height, the Tiggo 3x stays true to its subcompact brief. The tight overhangs leave interior space competitive for the class, while the 186 mm ground clearance is enough to clear rough city streets without venturing into true off-road territory.
Markets & Legacy
Although domestic Chinese sales remain the volume base, the Chery Tiggo 3x/2 is widely distributed across Latin America, Southeast Asia and the Middle East through Chery’s export channels.
