Morris FE

From 1955 to 1959, the British Motor Corporation produced the Morris FE, a forward-control 5- and 7-ton truck that modernised the pre-war Morris Commercial range while keeping many of its mechanical roots.
Design & Updates
Compared with the Morris FV that preceded it, the FE switched to a forward-control layout and gained a cleaner, more modern front grille. Otherwise, the core architecture remained conservative to keep tooling and parts commonality high.
Market Position
Positioned as a straightforward workhorse for businesses and municipal fleets, the FE served as BMC’s bridge between post-war austerity and the upcoming 1960s generation of heavier commercials. No successor was introduced under the Morris Commercial name.
