Lada Largus

Unveiled in 2012, the Lada Largus is AvtoVAZ’s wagon-shaped, value-focused successor to the Lada Nadezhda and the first mass-market product to emerge from the later-dissolved Renault–Nissan partnership in Russia.
Design
The Largus keeps the honest, boxy proportions of its donor, the first-generation Dacia Logan MCV: 4470 mm long, 1750 mm wide and 1670 mm tall. Straight ribs along flanks and a high roof translate into flat cargo floors and maximum interior volume for the class.
Production & Partnership
Between 2012 and the structural split with Renault and Nissan, branded parts were shipped to AvtoVAZ’s Togliatti plant where final assembly was carried out. After the venture wound down, Lada continued producing the model unmodified, focusing on Russia and the CIS markets.
Legacy
More than a decade on, the Largus remains the default budget estate and commercial van for small businesses and taxi fleets, cementing its role as the practical but unpretentious utility car the Nadezhda never achieved.
