The Lada C, launched by Russian manufacturer AvtoVAZ in 2007, is a compact hatchback that anchors the brand’s modern-day range. Over 17 years in production, it has become a popular sight on post-Soviet roads.
Design
With domestic rather than export markets in mind, the Lada C packages a short 4208 mm body onto a wide 1835 mm track, giving it a squat, planted stance. At 1548 mm tall, the roofline sits lower than traditional Ladas, lending the car a contemporary hatchback silhouette that maximizes cabin space within city-friendly dimensions.
Markets & Production
Since its 2007 debut, the Lada C has been produced primarily at the Togliatti plant in central Russia. The model never gained direct successors, allowing continuous running updates and regional trims to carry the nameplate into the 2020s.
