Introduced in late 1991 and produced through 1996, the Audi 80 B4 brought subtle yet thorough revisions to the established B3 platform and was the final iteration before Audi rebranded its compact executive range as the A4.

The B4 generation formed the closing chapter of the Audi 80 nameplate. It directly succeeded the B3 (1986–1991) and in turn gave way to the first-generation Audi A4 B5 that appeared in late 1994. Exterior & Dimensions
Visual changes over the B3 were evolutionary: reshaped bumper covers, a steeper front grille, and enlarged taillights denoted the update. The overall body shell carried over, but minor sheet-metal tweaks to accommodate safety and aerodynamic goals pushed the width to 1,695 mm while retaining the company’s timeless aerodynamic fastback silhouette.
