The Aston Martin Vantage AMR Pro is a track-focused evolution of the British marque’s most agile sports car lineup, adding race-bred hardware to the already performance-oriented Vantage platform.
Vantage lineage and the AMR Pro focus
Traditional Astons emphasize grand-touring credentials, yet the split from the mid-1990s supply of separate high-performance "Vantage" packages showed a growing appetite for sharper, more compact models. The AMR Pro leverages this shift, applying competition-derived suspension and aerodynamics to the leanest car in the current range.
Design for the circuit
Compared with the standard Vantage GT, the AMR Pro adopts enlarged front intakes, a pronounced splitter, and an extended fixed rear wing to generate additional downforce. Lightweight composites trim overall mass, while staggered 19-inch center-lock wheels house upgraded brakes sized for sustained laps.
Purpose and positioning
Positioned below outright GT3 machinery but above roadgoing variants, the AMR Pro is aimed at drivers who seek Porsche 911 GT3 levels of immediacy without sacrificing Aston Martin’s blend of craftsmanship. Only a limited production run—each hand-finished at Gaydon—reinforces its collector appeal.
