Dimensions & Design
With an overall length of 4,725 mm, the DB12 is relatively compact for a four-seat GT, yet its 1,980 mm width and low 1,295 mm roofline give it the planted stance expected of an Aston grand tourer. Active aerodynamics and a cleaner surfacing language distinguish it from its predecessor without abandoning the classic long-hood, short-deck proportions.
Positioning
Aston Martin treats the DB12 as the bridge between its Vantage sports coupes and future mid-engine supercars, slotting directly above the outgoing DB11. The car is engineered to combine continent-crossing comfort with sharper dynamic responses, targeting buyers who might otherwise consider the Bentley Continental GT or Ferrari Roma.
