Launched first as the Alsvin V7 (悦翔V7), the model underwent a mid-cycle facelift in 2018 and was simultaneously renamed Eado DT to align with Changan’s unified Eado passenger-car family. The V→DT switch marked a clear marketing push to elevate the model beyond the entry-level Alsvin line and closer to the slightly larger Eado sedan without stepping into compact-class pricing.
