BYD e1

ბაზარზე
2019 წელი — მარტო ჩინეთისთვის. e1 უფრო დიდი e2-ისა და e3-ის ქვეშ ჯდებოდა, სამომხმარებლო კი ძირითადად ტაქსის აქტიური ქალქებისა და პირველი ელექტროსახსრის ყიდვა უნდოდათ. არც წარმოება გაგრძელებულა, არც სხვა ქვეყანაში გადაუყვანიათ. ჯერჯერობით სულ ეს ამბავია.
English version
Launched in 2019, the BYD e1 is the all-electric follow-up to the BYD F0 city car, offering zero-emission commuting in a front-wheel-drive micro package aimed squarely at urban China.
Origins
The roots of the e1 trace to the BYD F0 (originally previewed as the BYD F1), which rolled off Chinese lines from July 2008 to 2015. When BYD ended petrol production of the F0, the company recycled its lightweight platform and compact footprint into the new “e series,” reintroducing the concept three years later as a pure-electric model.
Design & Packaging
Visually, the e1 is a near-lookalike to its petrol twin, keeping the F0’s upright hatchback silhouette, tight 3.5 m length and four-door body that can seat four. Shorn of an exhaust pipe and fitted with smoother front trim, the only giveaways are the “e-BYD” badging and subtle blue accents.
Market Life
Offered solely in China during 2019, the e1 slotted below BYD’s larger e2 and e3 siblings, targeting first-time EV buyers and ride-share fleets. No successor or wider global rollout has been announced to date.
