Launched by Bentley’s in-house bespoke division, the Mulliner Batur is an ultra-limited grand tourer that frames the brand’s future design DNA while celebrating its coachbuilding craft. Barely two dozen will ever exist, making it one of the scarcest modern Bentleys.
Design & Exclusivity
Styled as a dramatic fastback coupé, the Batur reinterprets classic Bentley cues—horse-shoe grille, twin round lamps, and long bonnet—through sharper, more aerodynamic surfacing. Each of the 18 customer cars is finished by Mulliner with personal color and trim choices that can include 3D-printed 18 ct gold accents, pushing individualization to jewelry-grade levels.
Performance & Powertrain
A hand-built 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 paired with Bentley’s eight-speed dual-clutch delivers over 730 hp and 738 lb-ft of torque. Despite retaining the marque’s signature all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering, the car remains rear-wheel biased for the most driver-focused Bentley dynamics yet.
Legacy as Design Beacon
Although produced only in 2024, the Batur is already earmarked as Bentley’s last W12-powered coupe before electrification takes over. Its sculpted lines and material innovations will directly influence the battery electric architecture debuting in 2025, making the Batur a rolling preview of Bentley’s next chapter.
