The Audi TT RS brings the compact coupé into genuine sport-car territory with a dedicated RS treatment developed on the bones of the earlier TT quattro sport.
Origins
Positioned as the highest-performance member of the TT family, the RS followed the limited-run TT quattro sport and adopted Audi’s most aggressive tuning philosophy—wider tracks, sharper aero, and the legendary inline-five turbo from the B-era RS models.
Design
From the single-frame honeycomb grille to fixed rear wing and oval tailpipes, every surface signals intent. Aluminium-look mirror caps, wider sills, and bulged wheel arches visually separate the RS from cooking-grade TTs while preserving the Bauhaus-inspired silhouette that defined the line since 1998.
Performance Signature
The 2.5-litre turbocharged five-cylinder—an Audi hallmark since the original Quattro—delivers the characteristic off-beat soundtrack and relentless mid-range punch, routed through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and quattro all-wheel drive to plant up to 400 PS in any weather.
