Suzuki has produced the Celerio city car since 2014, initially as a global nameplate for its city cars, and later as a standalone model. The Celerio has undergone two major updates since its introduction, with the latest third-generation model being unveiled in 2021. The Celerio has also been rebadged and sold by Toyota in some African markets.
History
The Suzuki Celerio was first introduced as a global nameplate in 2014, replacing the A-Star. The second-generation Celerio was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2014 in India, after being previewed as the A:Wind concept model in Thailand in 2013. The third-generation model was unveiled in November 2021.
Design and Variants
The Suzuki Celerio is a hatchback city car, measuring 3600mm in length and 1600mm in width. It has been produced by Suzuki since 2014 and has been rebadged and sold by Toyota in some African markets as the Toyota Vitz in 2023.
Generations
