History
The Škoda Felicia was introduced in 1994, building upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, the Škoda Favorit. It was one of the first Škoda models to benefit from the technical expertise and resources of Volkswagen Group, which had acquired Škoda Auto.
Design and Engineering
Although the Felicia retained the core structure of the Favorit, it featured new outer panelwork, giving it a fresh appearance. The redesign included a new front end, and the car was available with a wider range of engines sourced from Volkswagen.
Generations
The Škoda Felicia was produced from 1994 until 2001, after which it was succeeded by the Škoda Fabia. It was the last model to be developed on Škoda's own platform.
