The Škoda Citigo was a city car produced by Škoda, a rebadged version of the Volkswagen Up, from 2011 until its discontinuation in 2020. It was part of the New Small Family series alongside the SEAT Mii. The Citigo's production run was closely tied to its Volkswagen counterpart.
History
The Škoda Citigo was manufactured at the Volkswagen Plant in Bratislava, Slovakia, starting in December 2011. It was one of three rebadged city cars in the New Small Family series, with the other two being the Volkswagen Up and SEAT Mii. Production of the Citigo ended in 2020.
Design and Variants
The Citigo had slightly different front and rear fascias compared to its Volkswagen and SEAT siblings. It shared the same basic design and dimensions, with a length of 3563mm, width of 1641mm, and height of 1478mm.
Legacy
The Škoda Citigo was effectively replaced by newer models in Škoda's lineup. Its production discontinuation was part of the broader phase-out of the New Small Family series, with the Volkswagen Up being the last to cease production in October 2023.
