Produced from 1971 to 1978, the Pontiac Grand Safari was a high-end full-size station wagon that sat atop Pontiac's lineup. It shared design elements with the Bonneville and Grand Ville passenger cars. As a top-of-the-line model, it featured premium trim and woodgrain paneling.
Design
The Grand Safari used the grille and interior trim of the Bonneville and Grand Ville passenger car series. Most examples were trimmed with woodgrain paneling on the sides and tailgate, giving them a distinctive appearance.
Generations
