Produced from 1984 to 1988, the Pontiac Fiero was a mid-engined sports car that marked Pontiac's return to the two-seater market after a nearly 50-year hiatus. As General Motors' first mass-produced rear mid-engine car, it was designed to be an economical commuter car with modest performance.
