Produced between 1928 and 1929, the Peugeot Type 184 was a large, luxurious car manufactured by Peugeot at their Issy-les-Moulineaux plant, representing the brand's attempt to expand into the high-end market. It was larger than its predecessor, the Peugeot Type 174. Despite its opulence, the model was discontinued after a short production run.

Despite its luxurious features, the Peugeot Type 184 was taken out of production after less than two years due to being out of touch with the market at the time. It was discontinued without a direct replacement.
