Fiat Punto Evo

English version
Between 2009 and 2012 Fiat gave the Grande Punto a mid-life refresh and christened it the Fiat Punto Evo. Despite the name, the revisions were minor, yet they bridged the third-generation design with the cleaner styling that reverted to just "Punto" in 2012.
Generations
The Punto Evo arrived for the 2010 model year replacing the Grande Punto and adopted the simpler "Punto" badge again in 2012. These three overlapping labels actually mark successive updates of the same third-generation Punto, making the Evo the middle chapter.
Design
Cosmetically the Evo gained a smoother front bumper with integrated fog-light surrounds and slimmer headlights. The rear badge spacing and lamp lenses were lightly retouched, while interior trims swapped plastics and upholstery patterns to freshen the cabin without altering the dashboard architecture.
Legacy
Today, the Punto Evo occupies a niche for buyers who want economical European hatchback styling that still wears the last large Fiat badge. Market searches often mingle listings labelled "Grande Punto", "Punto Evo" and plain "Punto", underscoring how incremental the changes actually were.
