Introduced in 2002 as a 2003 model, the Toyota Matrix is a compact hatchback derived from the Corolla and the result of a joint venture between Toyota and General Motors. Manufactured by Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada, it shares its GM counterpart with the Pontiac Vibe. The Matrix was eventually succeeded by the Toyota Auris.

The Toyota Matrix is derived from the Corolla and shares many of its components. It is a compact hatchback with a length of 4351mm.
Generations and Legacy
The Toyota Matrix was eventually succeeded by the Toyota Auris, marking the end of its production run. Its shared development with General Motors resulted in the closely related Pontiac Vibe.
