Introduced in September 2004, the Toyota Isis is a seven-seat minivan produced by Toyota, manufactured by Kanto Auto Works. It replaced the Toyota Gaia in the Japanese market.
Design and Features
The Toyota Isis features sliding doors and is available with either front- or four-wheel drive. It comes with straight-4 1.8- and 2.0-liter gasoline engines. Its dimensions include a length of 4640mm, width of 1710mm, and height of 1670mm, with a mass of 1400kg.
Market and Competition
The Toyota Isis was sold in Japan and competed with the Honda Stream and the Nissan Lafesta.
History
The Toyota Isis was launched in September 2004 as a successor to the Toyota Gaia.
