Launched in June 1996, the SEAT Alhambra is a seven-seater minivan produced by SEAT until 2020 at the AutoEuropa plant in Palmela, Portugal. Named after the famous Spanish monument, it shares its platform with the Volkswagen Sharan.

The SEAT Alhambra was manufactured from June 1996 onwards. It shares the same platform with the Volkswagen Sharan and the first generation was also related to the Ford Galaxy.
