Peugeot introduced the 3008 compact crossover SUV, first unveiled in Dubrovnik, Croatia in 2008, filling a gap between the Peugeot 308 and the larger 5008. The 3008 has since seen two major redesigns. Its evolution reflects Peugeot's strategy in the growing compact SUV segment.
History
The Peugeot 3008 was initially launched in April 2009, replacing the Peugeot 4007 and 4008. It was built on the same platform as the Peugeot 308. A second generation, based on the EMP2 platform, was released in May 2016 and became available in January 2017. The third generation, utilizing Stellantis' SLTA Medium platform, was released in September 2023.
Design and Generations
