Unveiled at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, the Opel Speedster is a mid-engined sports car that was produced from July 2000 to July 2005. Manufactured at the Lotus Cars plant in Hethel, Norfolk, England, it was available in both left-hand and right-hand drive configurations.
