Launched in 2004, the Mazda Verisa is a subcompact car based on the Mazda DY platform, available exclusively in Japan. Although not sold new outside Japan, used Verisas were exported to various international markets. The Verisa's design blends elements of a tall hatchback and a low mini MPV.
