Since 2018 Great Wall Motors has fielded the Wingle 7, a full-size pickup that takes over directly from the Wingle 6 and continues the brand’s long-running Wingle series from China.
Generations & Positioning
The Wingle 7 arrived in 2018 as the immediate successor to the Wingle 6, slotting above it in size while keeping the established Wingle naming that Great Wall has used for two decades. No successor model has been announced, so the 7 remains the current flagship of the family-oriented Wingle line.
Design & Dimensions
The truck measures 5 395 mm long, 1 800 mm wide and 1 760 mm tall, giving it true full-size proportions and a lengthy bed that meets both commercial and lifestyle buyer needs. The squared-off profile and tall ride height follow global pickup cues, yet sheet-metal surfacing and lighting details remain distinctly Great Wall.
Introduction Year
Great Wall Motors started production in 2018, bringing the Wingle 7 to domestic and emerging export markets as the brand’s latest answer to rising demand for large, multipurpose pickups in Asia and beyond.
