The 2007 Fiat Fiorino is a compact commercial vehicle that reinherited a well-known Italian name for modern city-based delivery work and tradespeople.
Introduction
Launched in 2007, the Fiat Fiorino re-entered the brand’s light-van lineup with a focus on inner-city maneuverability and low running costs. Built on a shared platform with PSA Peugeot-Citroën siblings, it continued the Fiorino badge long associated with Fiat’s small commercial vehicles.
Design & Configuration
Offered as a two-seat panel van and a five-seat passenger version called Qubo, the 2007 Fiorino used a short wheelbase and tall roofline to maximize cargo volume within a 4.0 m footprint. Twin side-load doors and a 180°-opening rear hatch gave access to a flat load floor capable of swallowing a Euro pallet.
Motors
Engine choices at launch ranged from a 1.4-litre petrol unit to Euro 4 compliant 1.3 and 1.6-litre MultiJet turbodiesels producing between 75 hp and 105 hp, mated to five- or six-speed manual gearboxes. An automated manual option was later added for urban stop-and-go conditions.
Endurance & Updates
Minor facelifts refreshed the front bumper and cabin materials in 2011 and 2016, adding standard stability control and upgraded infotainment while keeping mechanical hardware largely unchanged, ensuring part continuity across the long production run.
